Britain’s seeing its biggest protest yet against the deep cuts the country faces to tackle its massive debts. Right now, tens of thousands of students are protesting against a planned hike in tuition fees which could see them treble to 9-thousand pounds a year.

We MUST support the students in our country they are our future. Violence? Not good and shouldn’t happen again but I do understand why some people cross the line – we have had decades of governments ignoring us and thinking…we the people are their to serve them. Wrong. They are our employees and we are the bosses. It’s now time that they listen to us.

So I leaked an un mastered version of “Carnage” from our new album before it’s out and I made a protest video. Fuck it. I had to…I’ve had enough.

The song is a blinding attack on British politics and the electoral farce. It’s a song about the people standing up and no longer acting like the government is our boss – the government and all the mp’s and other cronies are our employees – so let’s start treating them that way. When they do a shit job they should be sacked. They are answerable to us.

We were asked to write a World Cup song for a TV advert that didn’t get commissioned so here it is – our South Africa 2010 World Cup Song.

When I wrote this I tried to imagine people going through their pre-match rituals from the old man to you young boy to the white van man to the family. It’s a song about the passion of football and the way it makes you feel when you goto watch your team… Tom x
