Serenna formed in 2005 and gained reputation for powerful and highly emotive live performances. Once a project of dark rock, Serenna has now metamorphisised into ‘Manumission’. We are currently focussed on the creation and delivery of a distinctive type of Neofolk, combining martial and traditional folk elements with a New Zealand perspective.
